You can expect a special experience! The home is a piece of love-filled artwork. You truly feel like you are staying in a piece of art. So much love, care, and intention has gone into this place. Every nook and cranny has something unique and useful placed in it.

It’s comfortable and all your need are met, while knowing you are off the grid. I love the outdoor space they have created – multiple sitting and eating areas, and a while outdoor living room set up. The birds in the trees, beautiful sunsets, horses in the pasture, and the comfort knowing Marni and Frank are nearby if you need anything – it’s just amazing.

My only regret is I did not have more time during the day to explore and enjoy the space.

Next time I am definitely bringing my kids – for whom this will be dreamland – and will take advantage of archery, the swings and hammocks, and maybe art projects!!

Truly an unexpected gem in Elizabeth!

We were so lucky to be the first AirBnB guests at this magical Treehouse in Elizabeth! Anyone who’s up for an adventure will have an amazing time here—it was great for our kids, and just such a cool experience. There’s so much to share… The Hosts Marni and Frank are awesome! They built the treehouse themselves over the last few years and are so creative and kind, and they were our guides to discovering all the hidden gems and learning about lux life off the grid. We also got to meet Boo and Stella, their super sweet dogs, three horses, three alpacas, two llamas, and cats! The Treehouse The treehouse is full of fairy lights and magical little moments. It’s super Instagram-friendly, but also just really comfortable. There are unlimited activities: a ping pong table, chessboard, corn hole, cards—and then the high-tech stuff too, a TV and projector, video games, and more. And it’s all built around “Pal,” the huge, sturdy pine tree that is the center of the construction. Sleeping This totally felt like glamping! Our three kids bunked in the “Cabana Room” on fold-out camping cots (they brought their own sleeping bags) and there were lots of blankets and pillows to keep everyone comfortable. My husband and I slept upstairs in the bedroom loft—there’s a steep staircase that reminds you you’re in a tree, and then a bedroom with a queen-sized bed (very comfortable bedding) and a pull-out couch there too. They have fans to keep the temperature perfect and lots of little details to make sure that even though you’re up in a treehouse, you have every imaginable comfort! Power & Lighting We learned a lot about solar power from this trip! The lighting set-up is a little bit complicated because everything is solar-powered, so there were lots of little remote controls that turned things on—by the second night, we had figured it all out. Marni and Frank had charged-up batteries for anything we wanted to plugin, and there were lots of hanging lanterns and lights you could just touch to turn on. Water & Bathroom Again, this is total glamping! There are several sinks—one in the kitchen (washing dishes was easy), one outside near the grill, and one in the bathroom. The kitchen and bathroom both had hot water. There is a composting toilet installed in the bathroom, which we learned how to use (not rocket science, but it was our first time), and then a super cool rustic-yet-luxurious shower with hot water. A sliding door for the bathroom gave people privacy. All the details were perfect—soft hand towels, etc. This treehouse is an absolutely delightful getaway—the area is so beautiful, and you really feel like you’re getting away from reality and entering a magical, whimsical place. We can’t wait to go again!

Staying in the treehouse was an incredible experience! The views were breathtaking, and the decoration made it feel like a really fun place to stay. There was plenty to do, whether we were relaxing inside or exploring the area. We loved it!
